On being a switch

I think I realized something about my domme/sub preferences recently.  It switches back and forth, you see.  My not very profound realization is that if I haven't done either for awhile, then I crave submission.  Domming is haaaard, let's go subbing.  But if I'm getting enough of it, I prefer to top.

During my first year in SL, I had two long-term subs.  That meant a fair amount of topping, and my profile said that I was generally a domme.  But when I hit a dry spell and don't have much B/D at all, I usually want to be topped.

But this is all complicated by my experience that I'll have a better time with a random sub than with a random domme (or even dom).  I'm a little wary of submitting to a relative stranger... at the very least I'd like to see if they can RP and if they're into anything really weird.

On the other hand, it's never too late to learn something new.  Just last night, messing around in a hot tub, a friend introduced me rather suddenly to breath play.  She held my head down underwater, while I was licking her pussy, and was very very slow to let me up to breathe.  I don't know why, and I don't know if it would work again, but for some reason I found this incredibly hot.

Reactions can be odd though.  Also recently, I was playing as a student at the reform school.  At one point no less than three people were leaning on me: a teacher, her student pet, and a passing staff member.  Far from making me feel submissive, I was pissed off.  If it takes three people to hold me down, that's not a topping, it's just a beatdown.
